9th International Groundwater Conference (IGWC-2022)
The 9th edition of the International Groundwater Conference was organized by the Department of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee during November 02-04, 2022. The conference focused on effective management of surface and subsurface water resources in arid and semi-arid regions, bringing together over 300 international delegates from 12 countries.
8th International Groundwater Conference (IGWC-2019)
The 8th International Groundwater Conference (IGWC 2019) provided a common global platform for researchers, academicians, water managers, industrialists, and technocrats to discuss and present their vision for sustainable management of soil-water resources amidst climate change and growing population demands.
About the International Groundwater Congress (IGWC) Series
The International Groundwater Conference (IGWC) series is organized under the auspices of the Association of Global Groundwater Scientists (AGGS). Founded to advance sustainable management of groundwater resources, the congress acts as a biennial global meeting point for scientists, researchers, agricultural engineers, water authorities, and policy makers.
Over the past two decades, AGGS has organized milestone congresses at premier academic institutes including IIT Roorkee, CSIR-NGRI Hyderabad, and the National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) Roorkee, producing world-renowned proceedings and seminal technical frameworks.
